Background

Adrian is the founding Partner of JAM Consulting.  He has the formal education of a Brit but a love for the spontaneity & creativity of Brazilians.

He went to brand & retail marketing school at British American Tobacco, graduated in the importance of ideas, culture & collaboration at Ogilvy, and post graduated in social economics & societal behaviour from travelling & living in many countries around the globe.

The name JAM is inspired by his three children – Johnny, Antonia & Manuela.  But also alludes to the experimentation & fusion of ideas created by musical jam sessions.  The mixture of structure and spontaneity.

Adrian is fascinated by how digital technology is changing the way people, organisations and society behave.  Technology itself is very rational and impersonal, while people will always be driven by emotion.  This dichotomy presents many challenges for society as well as for marketers who need to understand the ever changing economic and retail landscape while continuing to tap into consumer emotions & needs to sell their brands.

Adrian & JAM Consulting operate within this new collaborative economy where innovation is created through partnership, and where agility beats size.  JAM helps organisations and brand marketers to navigate through these turbulent waters, catch the wave, and in the words of David Ogilvy “Blaze new trails”.
